Preloaded with Garmin's Bluechart G3 Coastal and LakeVu Lake maps, you will receive unparalleled coverage and detail. Included Shallow water shading, Navionics detail and NOAA Raster cartography provide enhanced data and auto-routing makes getting to your destination a breeze. Enter in your destination and your GPSMAP 743 will guide you based on the safest route taking into consideridation safe depths and navigations. However, if the preloaded detail isnt enough or if you are traveling outside of the covered mapping area the GPSMAP 743 is fully compatible with the Bluechart G3 Vision and LakeVu Ultra chart options.
Full Network capabilities make connecting optional add-ons, NMEA components, Engine data and more simple. With a single network port you can choose to connect radar, IP camera, Livescope or additional displays. If more than one network port is required simply add on the GMS10 port expander to expand your network as needed. The connection features dont stop there though. A J1939 port makes connecting engine data a breeze while the NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 networks allow connection to compatible autopilots, VHF, AIS and more. Also, includes BNC Video and USB ports.
Advanced features such as built-in Wifi makes pairing with ActiveCaptain easy. Pair with the free all in one app to access chart info, smart notifications, software updates, routing planning and much more! Intergrated ANT Technology pairs with some of your other Garmin favorites such as the Quatix or gWind transducers while the added ONEHELM feature brings together third party devices such as EmpriBus digital switching to one display!
